Creating plans to achieve goals.

Hello Tribe,
Too often, we create lofty goals that sound great in our heads. How many times do we actually follow through with them? To help keep goals on track, first, we need to write them down. Once they are down, they need to be broken down. So how does that happen? Ask yourself, is this goal measurable? What is my time frame and what am I willing to do in order to make this goal reachable? Do I really want to attain this goal or was it something I overheard and thought I could do it too? Next, make sure the goal is achievable. Speak it into action but also be realistic about what it is. For example, maybe you want to buy a car and need a thousand dollars for a down payment. What can you do every month in order to create that amount to put down that down payment? Furthermore, is the goal relevant? Is this a goal that adds value and purpose to your life? Is this goal worth sacrificing time to achieve? Lastly, set a limit on when you want your goal to be achieved. Be realistic but also, don't give yourself too much time when you know it's something that doesn't need it. That precious time can be used on obtaining other goals. -Maria
